Vacant Positions at TRIP:

1. Front-End Engineer Intern

   Job Description:

   • Own low-to-medium complexity of end-to-end development in front-end domain.
   • Predictable and reliable engineer to deliver product deliveries with technical excellence.
   • Responsible for doing any research needed as an enabler to achieve high-level quality of systems.
   • Be stewards of software engineering, software architecture, security, testing, and API best practices in the organization.

   Requirements:

   • Possess strong problem solving.
   • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment with strong commitment for learning.
   • Ability to work collaboratively with others.
   • Familiar with Javascript frameworks (Vue.js, Nuxt.js, React) is a plus.
   • Good understanding of software engineering concepts, algorithms, and design patterns.
   • Knowledge in the travel/hospitality domain is an advantage.

2. Software Quality Assurance Intern

   Job Description:

   • Own low-to-medium complexity of software testing process to ensure that high-quality products are continuously delivered with confidence.
   • Predictable and reliable team member of a product management team who has an understanding of overall business processes.
   • Create, update, and maintain comprehensive test documentation based on requirements to ensure reliable product delivery.
   • Identify software failure points, analyze, report and suggest a solution to the engineering team.
   • Create and manage bug reports and communicate with the team.

   Requirements:

   • Solid analytical and problem solving skills.
   • Keen attention to detail and ability to think comprehensively.
   • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill.
   • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment with strong commitment for learning.
   • Ability to work collaboratively with others.
   • Familiar with the work of designing test cases, plan, and strategy.
   • Experience in working in an engineering team with proven track record in delivering a scalable and quality product is an advantage.
   • Knowledge in the travel/hospitality domain is an advantage.

3. Graphic Designer Intern

   Responsibilities:

   • Develop concepts and create well-designed artworks for all marketing collateral on various media, such as: in app & web banners, digital ads, newsletter (static & GIF), social media, OOH billboard, etc.
   • Conceptualize and create visuals for internal corporate communication collateral, such as: presentation template, poster, video, etc.
   • Ensure projects are completed with high quality, visually appealing, on brand and on schedule.
   • Collaborate with the team to ensure the consistency of design on various platforms.
   • Able to present ideas to the team and stakeholders.

   Requirements:

   • Fresh graduate / students in the last semester, preferable from visual communication design or other related major.
   • Have a strong portfolio, strong creativity and attention to detail.
   • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator. Able to do hand-drawn illustration or have knowledge in After Effects / Cinema 4D is a plus.
   • Driven to learn, positive attitude and reliable, great interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues across different verticals.
   • Problem-solving skills, deadline-focused, have excellent time management and goal-driven but still know how to have fun.

4. Product Intern

   Job Description:

   • Help Product Manager to deliver operational excellence and project management through data analysis and operations leadership.
   • Analyze business performance to provide meaningful and actionable insights.
   • Decompose product features to be developed into smaller units of requirements which can be understood by multiple stakeholders.
   • Report periodical business operations insights in a presentable manner.
   • Own a project and be accountable to deliver it end to end.

   Requirements:

   • Outstanding academic performance from well-known universities will be an advantage.
   • Have a background in computer science, engineering, business, or related areas is preferred.
   • An analytical, data-driven, detail mindset; a love for digging into data to understand what’s happening and to justify requirements.
   • Passionate about products and able to collaborate effectively with design, engineering, and business teams.
   • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Data Engineering Intern

   Job Description:

   • Work with various stakeholders, understand the specifications for new tracking / ingestion.
   • Together with the data engineering team, develop data ingestion and integration from data sources to data warehouse; to a form that is suitable for analysis.
   • Support and monitor day-to-day operations of data ingestion and integration process, serve as a focal point for resolution/escalation of data issues based on agreed SLA.

   Requirements:

   • Preferably final year university student or fresh graduate from Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, or Information System.
   • Understanding the basics of SQL, Python, and bash script.
   • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS & GCP.
   • Have basic knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional data modeling.

6. Business Analyst Intern

   Responsibilities:

   • Act as project management coordinator for initiatives under the monitoring of the CEO.
   • Take, summarize, distribute, and track meeting notes and follow-ups for management-level and high-priority meetings.
   • Lead the delivery of key initiatives that require strong collaboration among heads of departments.
   • Support in framing business problems; finding and analyzing relevant data to solve strategic business issues.
   • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis in developing recommendations for the management team regarding organization strategy.

   Requirements:

   • Final-year students or fresh graduates with less than 1-year working experience.
   • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
   • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
   • Systematic, result-oriented mindset, and detail-oriented.
   • Versatile and highly adaptable.
   • Having an entrepreneurial hands-on mentality and good commercial acumen.
   • Available for a 6-month internship period (starting from September).
