Job Description

• Responsibility for and organization of local tax function
• Implementation of processes and checks for Indirect Taxes in Indonesia
• Main contact for all Indonesian and international tax topics towards external and internal stakeholders
• „Definition of processes and interfaces between tax department and other departments/business units
• Coordination of tax audits in Indonesia and contact person for tax authorities and external advisors
• Transfer Pricing: Support in the preparation of TP documentation
• Advice on new business models (e.g. IoT business) in accordance with group policies (e.g. TP rules)
• Support in contract negotiations (e.g. tax clauses in agreements)
• Governance function for all direct and indirect tax compliance topics for all Indonesia legal entities and its foreign permanent establishment / warehouses
• Governance role regarding international transactions (e.g. withholding taxes, permanent establishments, TP)
• Governance role with respect to personal income tax topics (e.g. deduction on salaries of employees)
• Coordinate all Indonesia Tax Incentives

Qualifications

• Completed studies in accountancy / business administration or law (focus tax law), ideally CTA
• At least 6 years professional experience in the tax area in Big4 company or in MNC
• Additional experience in international taxation is preferred
• Experienced in dealing with tax authorities
• Profound knowledge of business processes, accounting, IT (especially SAP, Microsoft Office)
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia, additional knowledge of an ASEAN language is a plus.
• Excellence communication skills, persuading and convincing personality
• Reliability, sense of responsibility, independently driving the tax function, high commitment/dedication
• Willing to travel within Indonesia
