At Glints, we care deeply about making sure our people are on the right bus and in the right seat. We’re on the lookout for a Finance Manager in Indonesia to join our regional Finance team to help grow our team in Asia.

You will be entrusted with an ongoing quest to lead the ID Finance team to deliver improvement in the business performance of Indonesian entities by delivery of precise financial data regularly and smooth financial operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

Do Data Delivery:

Deliver complete, quick, and accurate financial data for financial analysis within the specified deadlines.

Perform month-end/quarter-end/year-end closings of all GL accounts, generate and maintain reliable, complete, and accurate relevant monthly/quarterly/yearly supporting schedules to financial reports.

Create and deliver accurate management account and relevant management report before the deadline.

Generate sales/expense/cash flow report to provide analysis and insights for management decision.

Financial Process Improvement

Improve the (1) finance operation and (2) reporting efficiencies through process automation, sourcing, and implementation of new reporting solutions.

Develop and maintain financial systems, processes, and controls that successfully meet statutory compliance requirements.

Ensure accounting policies and procedures comply with legal and corporate guidelines and policies.

Regulatory reporting

Lead the reporting of taxes and BPJS to the government.

Manage regular financial audit and annual filing with external parties.

Prepare and submit GST/VAT/Consumption Tax/Service Tax/Business Tax returns within the regulatory deadline.

Prepare and file returns to the government for matters such as license renewals.

Manage all corporate secretarial filings and record keeping.

Budget Control

Lead the budget planning and execution process, including but not limited to designing effective budget models and analyzing budget variance regularly, and reporting to the leadership team.

Make recommendations to drive improvements in cost-efficiency

Others

Any other duties and special projects assigned by your Immediate Supervisor.

Who We Are Looking For

Has min 3 years of experience in one of the Big 4 firms

Has min. 3 years of experience in financial reporting in a US/European multinational or post-Series B regional tech company

Chartered Accountant

Proficient in English

Has the ability to maintain the full accounting book and consolidation

Has experience in doing the month-end closing

Good understanding of local taxation (PPh21/PPh24/PPh23/CIT, etc.)

Has a strong desire to get the numbers right

Has a can-do attitude

Nice to have

Has team leading experience

Familiar with prevalent accounting software such as SAP, Netsuite, Xero

Willingness to learn SQL

Familiar with the latest IFRS

Have a good understanding of local GAAP and local BPJS
